Aisha Jamila Hinds is a popular American actress. She is known for her role in TV series The Shield, and True Blood. Her range of talents has been proven in TV series including 9-1-1 Detroit 1, 8-7 and Under the Dome since she began her career with an acting role in 2003. Anna's role in Assault on Precinct 13 was her first major breakthrough. The film was her role in the role of Fannie Lou (a women's activist for the rights of women) within the biography All the Way film that brought her fame as an actor. Hind was also praised for her role as Harriet Tubman in WGN America's period television drama Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television announced that the series will continue for an additional season. The father Krishnaraj worked as an Army scientist, who died on March 18 2017 and his mom Vrinda is a domestic worker. Aditya Rao works as a merchant navy engineer, is her sibling older. His brother wrote and produced the film Dil Ka Rishta with their mother. Her family relocated to Mumbai and she was a student at Arya Vidya Mandir. Her intermediate studies were completed through Jai Hind College for a one year, before transferring to D.G. Ruparel College Matunga was where she scored 90% for her H.S.C. exams. The student spent the majority of her adolescence studying classical dance and music. Her favourite course was Zoology. Bachchan was a student of architecture when she took home the title Miss World 1994. This title was a boost to her career in the model industry. Her lucrative jobs for PepsiCo Inc. & Vogue magazine as well as her deal as a spokesmodel to L'Oreal Paris were all rewarded in 2003. Two of the first films she made in her career were Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya and Iruvar. The success of Bachchan's New Bollywood was boosted by the fact that both of these films are a departure from traditional Bollywood model. Bachchan became the Queen Of Bollywood because of her heartbreaking portrayal in Paro in the film Devdas. Devdas also happened to be the first Bollywood film shown at Cannes Film Festival. Chokher bali (2003) was her next film she starred in that earned her the praise of her peers. It is a thriller that is based on Rabindranath Tagore's novel. She became the very first Indian actress to serve on the jury for Cannes Film Festival during the same year. Bachchan was in Gurinder Chadha's Bride and Prejudice which is the musical version and ballet adaptation of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. The beauty and star power of Bachchan was brought to the very first English-language major film. She returned to Bollywood to star in the success Dhoom: 2 (2006) before releasing Provoked The Story of Provoked True Story (2006) in English. She got married Abhishek Bachchan, a co-star who is the daughter of Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan. This marriage brought two of India's most influential people in one place.
